Union-Busting at the Library of Congress

March 30, 2007

The Library of Congress Professional Guild, AFSCME Local 2910, representing more than 1,600 employees at the Library of Congress needs your help to turn back an assault on employee and union rights. Through their work, and the Guild, they have helped make the Library of Congress a great institution. Now they are being deprived of their right to participate in their labor organization freely and without fear of reprisal.

They are asking for letters to be sent to the Librarian of Congress, urging him to uphold the ideals of workplace fairness and democracy at the nation's library, http://www.unionvoice.org/campaign/LOC_unionbusting
