Federal law must ensure that professionals, and all workers, have the right to join together in union and negotiate with their employers. Through collective bargaining, professionals have been able to raise wages, improve benefits, and build sustainable careers. DPE seeks to pass federal legislation that will modernize the National Labor Relations Act and establish national standards for public employees and first responders.
