Union professionals come from many backgrounds, including individuals on temporary employment visas, Dreamers, TPS holders, lawful permanent residents, and U.S. citizens. DPE advocates for immigration policies that benefit U.S. professionals, highly skilled foreign workers, and high road employers. DPE’s work shapes the labor movement's position on higher-skilled temporary work visa programs, including the H-1B, L-1, O, and P visas.
